Ermm. I sorta help you all find out how to go to East Coast Park le. Go to Bedok Interchange, take 401 and than alight on the 15th stop including the interchange itself. We will be at Macdonald's there. Than can walk there or something.
Erm it would be good if we can meet together and go if not people like *ahem* take the bus and go to esplanade again xD (jkjk)
So yea. For people who have cca on thursday, like myself (T.T) do you wanna go together? Do you wanna go home first and stuff liddat?
Ok anyways, we're SUPPOSED to start the bbq at 12pm so rite, in order to be not late, you all might have to meet at 10.30am at jurong east mrt OR 11.30am at bedok interchange 401 bus there. So yea you all decide which one you all want la. Jus trying to help (:

hey guys! :) i need you all to bring some things on your own for the class bbq held on the 19th of nov. Because right, i checked the weather forecast and they said that it might rain on that day...although it's not 100% accurate i need you all to bring UMBRELLAS AND PICNIC MATS on that day just in case :)

Heyheyhey onejayians :D !
Here on a mission to report about the class outing/chalet...
Okay, first things first, the welfare reps decided that a chalet would be too expensive (well not everyone can afford it...) plus it'll be difficult to get a chalet especially during the hols sooooo
we decided on a barbecue instead.

Place/venue: East coast park (although we haven't booked the pit, i think we should be able to get a slot...)
Time: You all may reach at 12p.m. (the barbecue'll start @ 12p.m. and end at 3p.m.)
Then at 3p.m. we'll have this mass cycling thing (gonna be fun)
and then we might have treasure hunt or sth
Date: on the 19th of NOV
Things we're gonna buy for the barbecue
includes:
-the netting for the pit
-charcoal
-butter (one tub)
-marshmallows ^^ yumyum (3 packs)
-satay sticks
-taiwan sausages(2 packs)
-fishballs
-drinks (5 bottles)
-otah (X 20)
-chicken wing (2 packs)
-honey (one bottle)
-normal sausages (3 packs)
-garbage bags( i think some one's bringing?)
-chips (4 packets) - Maggie
-paper plates and plastic cups - Vivian Wong
-the round thing? --- to start fire - Hao yu
-beehoon (one tray) Yilin will provide but we'll still have to pay her though
-fried rice (one tray) Karsing will provide, but yeah, we'll have to pay her

-ice (buying from 7-11 on that day itself)
yeah, i guess that's about it
Anyway, we reallyreallyreally hope everyone will try to make it because it is rumoured that the class might have to split up next year (i hope not T.T) and this is a really a good chance for the class to bond :D And this might be the last chance for the whole class to come together as 1J before school reopens.
And i also know that some of you are not willing to buy the 1J'09 class tee (or some can't) but i mean
what if (WHAT IF)
the class really splits up next year. You all are saying that buying this year's class tee is a waste of money because we can't get to wear it for a very long time but if we really split next year then we won't even have a onejay shirt as a keepsake.
okay even if we don't split up next year
the shirt can still be used for other class outings right? even though we're not 1J anymore, we were once from onejay, and i don't think it'll seem like we retained because the year is also stated on the tee shirt :)
for Janssen's case, we're thinking of getting him to pay whatever he can and the remaining amount that has to be paid to be divided amongst the rest of the class
so everyone only needs to pay alittle bit extra to help our deardear class chairperson kay?

hi peeps... these are the 2 design for our class tee... :)
the first one :D
the second design is the one that we used to discusse with the class :)
okay... remember i told you all that its abt $18++ after discount? :) erm the white shirt itself is $5. one art work (the tie) is $50. so you divide the $50 by the number of tee-shirt we buying(34 pcs).
altogether, we have three art work (the tie, "one jay '09" and the printings at the back. but the good news is... the company is trying to give us a discount but i havent confirm yet.
however, if you all think that its still too expensive, erm...i will go to other shops and check. hopefully we will be able to find a cheaper one lor:) ... but dun keep dragging... if not we will not be able to have our class tee in time :(
so last of all... can you all decide which design you all wun...thnxthnxthnx :P...(using the poll)

Hey ONEJAY^^
It has been a longlonglong time since I last posted so yea. Valen's back :)
Well, for those of you still stuck in your dreamworld, time to wake up, one year has past already. One year as a class, one year more to go.
Hey, we should really treasure all the time we have together now because of our 2 year journey as a class, we're already halfway through. So whatever days' coming, it's another day closer before we part.
So, really love each other ok?
I think this year was great and I really love ONEJAY^^ (although I always scream and shout at you all lah.. >.<) Let's just jiayou together in 2010 and really move on to a greater height ok?
A short message from Mr Xiong:
"I would like to use this chance to say a big thanks to all of you for making my first year in RV a very pleasant one. It seems only not too long ago I first met all of you for the 1st time in the class and watched you all perform during the year 1 orientation campfire. Over the past 1 year, I have seen many of you grown and matured. I have learnt a lot from all of you too. Like what Mrs Yap has said, i hope that you all will remember all the naggings and do not treat us like strangers next time ok?! haha. All the best!"

Ok. Enough of the "end of the world sad feeling" time to discuss class stuff. Ok I am helping Vivian Wong post this.
If you all want class chalet this year, it will be on the 17th, 18th & 19th. About $5 per person, really very cheap actually.
It is the most non peak period. This is at downtown east, AKA escape theme park there.
If you all wan, we will organise, like sleepovers and stuff we will plan. But if dun wan so point lahs. Than Maxine will be posting the class tee design up on class blog also and I will be creating polls for class tee & chalet SO PLEASE RESPOND!
If not all 34 responds rite, I will just take majority ah. So yea, Can like ask your friend to help you also lah. But the friend dun go sabo you and choose another one.
I will post the chalet one up first followed by the class tee cause I dun have details. (Just helping the reps out)

I know some of you dont get why I'm doing so im telling you why. Btw, I didnt post the previous one. Look, I didn't put it on Sunday cause it would be too rush. Not on tues cause there's cca. Never on wed cause there's pss and no time at all. Like what you all said. If i start it at 2 and end at 6 is not sufficent what makes it possible that starting it at 4 and ending at 6 would be perfect? (Shiying you lost your bet -.-) Next, I know quite a number of you want it at IMM or somewhere near Jurong. But you have to know that not everyone knows how to go there. You cant deny that not everyone in our class knows how to go to vivo. Well, there's also time on thurs itself to finish up everything if you all remember. Time is given to rehearse but I'm using that to teach those who can't make it for the meeting. Understand now?
Now for the relay msg. I think it had not been specific enough. But i want you all to know that it is a CLASS event. You cant just not go because you dont feel like or it's not to your own desire. We are meeting at 2 at vivo and everyone must have their lunch before that. Those that didnt go and didn't give me a proper reason; names would be given to form teachers. We may be ending it at bout 6. Please bring paper and pen. Can you all help tell this to your friends and like go for this thing? EOYs are over and there would be lesser reasons why you shouldn't go.
